Hi all, I know one of our members built a very solid running Mean Machine and I am in need of information concerning the best location to mount the rudder hardware on the transom. Hope he reads this and responds.

There are two Mean Machines (that I know of) in the club. One Is Hugh's (Hebner) that's a single drive, the other is a twin drive (built by Bill) that I have. Are you building a single or twin?

The rudder blade on my single drive Mean Machine is on the right side 2" from the strut. I used the mini speedmaster rudder. The front of the blade is 2-1/8" from transom.

Sunday is looking reasonably pleasant although it won't be glassy water conditions (still do-able). Low to upper 60's, winds from 8-12 mph from the north.
Who's planning to be at the lake this Sunday?
