    Default LIPO Battery question

    Can I use a lipo battery with a brushed esc? I am not familar with lipo's yet.

    Yeah you can if the ESC supports Lipos.

    The most important thing is if the esc has a voltage cutoff setting. If you can't set the voltage cutoff for around 3V per cell, you could damage the battery because the esc will think it has nicad or nimh batteries which have a cutoff of around 1.0V a cell. If you run the batts below 2.8V per cell, you'll cook 'em.
