Default Brushless ESC for 15" Catarmaran

I have a Proboat Mini C that I converted to brushless using an Ammo 28-45-2100. I was using the Mamba 25 esc but I have burned up 3 of them (THEY ARE NOT WATERPROOF AS CASTLE CREATIONS SAYS THEY ARE!!!!!) and now I am looking for an alternative. Please let me know which ESC you would recommend with my set-up. I run on 3s li-po.

Thanks James for the link, I forgot to mention, I've fried 1 of those also. I have not had good luck with speed controllers in this boat. LOL.

That would be my suggestion too but with less emphasis on the waterproofing.

Let me get this right. You have killed 4 esc's due to water damage and you are looking for another.
I would suggest that you sort out the water ingress issue first before trying to get a water proof esc. If my boats come in with more than a teaspoon of water in them they are on the bench untill the cause is found and fixed.
This includes boats that have flipped and waited up to 1/2 an hour for retrieval.
    See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood

Well I have gone over and re-sealed the whole boat. The only reason why water got inside was because I flipped it and the tape on the hatch came off (was all out of hatch tape, so I had to use electrical tape; lesson learned) so water was able to get inside.

Go on ebay and get a seaking 35 amp watrproof and watercooled esc. They're really inexpensive and work great! These really are waterproof too!

HC sell the little 35 amp waterproof unit as well. Might be cheaper with shipping to go thru ebay though... I think the HC unit is the same as the seaking anyway...

I run a mamba 25 in my mhz gecko and so far it has done well, save for the switch which is rusting away... Still works... Might want to remove that before the next outing... Damn preventative maintenance!
