    The articulation on that critter is almost scary in comparing to something alive. I dont know if its syncronized via some pc based controller or the operator is that well coordinated? Either way that device should be on a commercial promoting something like a Coke or Beer. I cant wait until similar designs begin to travel in more realistic motion compared to the real thing. I havent seen any that dont appear mechanical in some form. The robot snakes might be the exception though.

    I have a hard time with one servo... 25 would have me shivering in a corner calling mommy...

    definitely has lots of uses, for SAR specially in an Urban situation. What a great specimen to model after, the ant can carry 10x its body weight. Wonder what the weight limits for the pod is?

    Very smooth motion. With some silicone skin, it would be great to scare people especially during Halloween. Or "Kids, do your homework or I'll let the ant out!"

    Maybe they will make them life size and we can use them for all terrain vehicles :)
