I'm currently at the point where I've replaced the motor, ESC and batteries in my Apache so it's plenty fast but I'll need to drop another $100 on a new flex shaft, strut and rudder system. My question to you fine people is do I spend the $100 on the new parts, then spend the time and money to gut the boat and fiberglass the inside and hope for the best or should I just get another boat altogether? The other boat would be this one - http://www.novahobby.com/brushless-m...boat-p-97.html

There is a certain appeal to the deep v as I hear it's self-righting if taped up properly. What do you guys think?

I'd more than likely convert my apache into a rescue boat if I got the other boat.
