I think the m in andym stands for magic. That very special prop you done for the DF 33 clone set a new record this morning Andy. Thanks so much for all the work and advice you have given me. That boat is so close to 70 mph on 5s.

111 kph or 68.97 mph. I am starting to think 75 mph on 6s.

Looks like I am finding a new vendor for all of my model boat gear. Someone shot himself in the foot today.

Older videos but they show I am not talking BS about the speed.

That is very fast mate, I am glad that prop works so well. I know you have not water cooled the motor so what temps and how long are your runs. Lower KV with more volts sure works well on that boat mate. Well done

Some might call me a simple idiot Andy, but I seem to be able to get Deans plugs to work when the rest of you cant. The reason it survives I think is that I am not on the loud stick too long. You know my boats and setups and the only boat I run 8mm bullets on is Mr. Krabs. All of my boats do over 60 mph and 2 of them are doing over 70 mph. I have never had any problems with Deans plugs to tell you the truth.
Thanks again to you for your expertise and prop magic, and jhocheung's ebay store for their cheap parts and good service.

Ozzie that boat cost me about $230 as I had most of the parts and the battery is a $79 Zippy battery. I have not blueprinted the hull or done some of the other things that will give me 70 mph. Fastest so far is 68.97 mph. Not bad for a DF 33 clone.

Just thought you might be interested in a boat that represents the Tasmanian flag and will be called Southern Cross

Chuck I can not tell you how happy I am that the boat is finally finished. Randy is testing it soon. He told me that his has been clocked at 98 mph. If that is the case then I need to start going to a bigger lake. The worrying time will be getting it shipped without it being damaged.
I think my H&M riggers might all be sold soon. Once this boat goes past 80 mph then I think I will cut the fleet to 2 boats, this one and my DF 33. I am amazed at how fast that boat is. I was hoping for a mono that would do 60 and now it has gone way past that and is just a Bee's nu nu of 70 mph. Andy and I are talking about how we will shatter the 70 mph mark with it already.

Ozzie, be careful you might just get what you wish for... me and Andy on your door step

Seriously if I can get the boat to the 100 mph mark then I am thinking of taking it on a trip at least to Broken Hill (I think it was you that made the comment "why don't they fix it" ).

Broken Hill <----> Broke Back Mountain...nah couldn't be. Disclaimer...No one batting for the other team was hurt in the making of that joke
