I use a 40" deep vee with a 700turbo brushed. I trail a 25 foot line attached to a chunk of styrofoam. I get to the stranded boat, circle it a few times, the line catches on the fin or prop, and tow it in.

If the boat is upside down, I use a sinking nylon line, take a few wraps and tow it in.

This was a non-serious thread. Are you asking how to retrieve a stranded boat? What method do you use now?

You must mean a centura prop. Octura props are for model boats

I really think this : http://www.smarthome.com/32092/Jet-N...Cleaner/p.aspx would be a geat retriever if you remove the bumper and net in the front. I can see myself removing the outboards and putting on a couple of EP1's...

That is great - recover boats at the pond and clean the pool at home. I might even be able to convince my wife we need one!
