At 34" long, I think this would be a good platform for a fast sport cat, Steven, is this something you would have a look at supplying? Hull only though, no use is getting the motors and electronics. Did I read the drives had roller bearings somwhere?

I think this hull will be worth watching - provided the 34" is the hull length, not O/A

EDIT: Found it - see attachment

Depending on the performance and quality, I will most likely carry it. Something makes me assume that the length is LOA.

if it is 34 LOA... hull might be 30 to 31" looking at pics.

I would buy this hull with hardware, and add my own electronics.

Ahh but the loop would require resources and time. None of wich are in great supply these days my friend. My long term plans include a real work shop with real equipment, forms and my own scale hulls. But all in good time.

Here goes the manual, very informative... it's in pdf format.

    http://www.venom-group.com//mmVENOMG...S%20Manual.pdf

It says the hull is 32 inches long, 34 inches overall.

Even to get ahold of one w/ hdwe and drives,to install your own motors etc.
Who knows, maybe the stock set-up would FLY!! as is. 40+ mph (as stated)
wouldn't be boring, thats for sure. 4-6 of these in an Offshore heat-race would be too kool Hopefully Venom will do a few different liverys.

It is a slightly modified version of the Ebay Head of the river cat. Just cosmetic additions (snorkels, exhaust etc...)

I would like a pair of those drive but, alas they are only good for 1/8" props.

Hopefully the sponsons were molded right?

I will power my cat with twin 7L's and 2S1P per side.

I made some right and left drive cables. Using .150 R&L cable and I line bored a pair of Octura stubs, 3/16" step down to 1/8" so I have great versitility with props including Graupner 4mm threaded ones.

    That manual is VERY informative.
Given that a pair of 380's will make this 32"cat move well for a RTR then I can see great potential 2 ways.

    1. I can do a twin 380's under 24" and have a ball
    2. The new owner of a Venom KoS can throw in a pair of 540 size motors if needed and have a real ball.
    See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood

Venom moved the date from Mid May to "Out of Stock" status. I emailed Venom the other day, and their response is the KOS will be out sometimes in July.

I have a single 540 9xl in the " Head of the river" hull, which is similar to the KOS and she flies. Imagine what a pair of 540's will do for this hull.
