Double water-pickup, almost done waiting on motor and esc.

    Nate, I ran that set motor/esc in my 26" delta force mono -> 4S and X645 = 43mph
I then stepped up and ran 6S on a carbon fiber 42mm prop = 50 mph. temps all < 120. motor was cold. I bet you could get 55mph on 6S and an X445 as long as you check temps. You might set the world record for fastest SV, who knows? You might need to add another pound of weight to keep it on the water.

Would be a good idea to trim the strut so the drive dog is inline with the leading edge of the rudder.

Jesse, Ill think ill start safe with 4s on 440, then jump up to 445 and see what happens.

If temps are good Ill try 5s2p on an x440 then x442....maybe see high 40's maybe

    a flash of 50mph I hope...who knows.

I want it to be reliable yet still very fast so Im going to bet
that 4s2p with an x445 will get me a reliable 45-46mph runs
    for 5-6mins wide open....

    Im gunna be using Flight Power lipo's... (2) 4s 14.8v 4950mah 33c lipo's in parallel....

Then try my new set of Neu 5000mah 30c 2s in series and see what works best...

I ran the boat today for the first time to get everything setup for the feigao12l and x438, Iv ran the proboat system in it with an x442...it seems to run around 38mph on the X442. Then I swapped to an x450 and ran right at Im going to guess 40-41. It was pretty fast..faster than stock SV for sure...

Iv been having alot of trouble adjusting that SM Stinger strut, its lowest setting is dead flat with the center of the hull...it needed to be lower...so I had to pull it off, then cut and bend the brass tubing lower...finally took it out again and put an M445 on that beast...

    Its a rocket for sure...

Iv not had time to check speeds, but im thinking twice on using the Feigao motor...might be too fast for this boat lol

Ok so I had the chance to run my Feigao 12l 2084kv motor and the AQU
stock ESC on 4s1p with an x438 prop.

I ran it in one of my white SV27's that has been sitting up for awhile, and as
curious as I was I had to slap it in and try it.

Im not to sure of the speed's, as it started to ran within maybe 2minutes of getting
to run the boat, but it didnt seem hot when I brought it in.

Id say the boat might be running 41mph..with a few more strut adjustments, and maybe after I get a longer run time in..Im might jump up in prop size.

Ill post a video tommorow after a few runs. The question is...

Is it worth buying the prop and feigao motor for just alittle fine tuning and bigger prop for the stock setup???

How do you take out the battery tray? Is there a way to melt the glue?
