I wouldn't run 25c rated lipo's...Iv been told you need atleast 30c for the 240HV, I had planed for the Eon33's there some bad lipo's..but Im doing you a favor as another member told me before I was gunna hook it up and run 28c lipos....BOOM! So got to rclipos.com or Tanicpacks.com and look up Thunderpower30c's or Flight power.

What setup are you running Jesse..like motor and prop..ect..

Well motor is the 1515 1.5Y and I will see for prop, if 4 or 5S then bigger X445 ish, if 8S then obviously mucho mas smaller. That's $500 in batts... might have to wait longer than expected. Why such a high C rating?

This is going into a H&M Intruder (38") cat. It may end up with twin 10XLs, each on 5S... We will start with the black stallion/Hulk pair and see...

There is nothing wrong with running 25c rated cells as long as your capacity (Mah) is a good bit, like 5000+. Put numerous packs in parallel and that would benifit the overall setup even more. The cells could supply the demand of the motor more easily. I run (4)Flightpower 4s 5000 mah 25c packs in 8s2p 10,000 mah configuration. This setup works very well on my HV240. I had purchased another one from Tower in hopes for a Mystic Catamaran with twin Neu 2215/ 1y's but Andym just picked up on a good deal for his Whip

Hey, thanks for the input! that really makes me feel better, although I see more batteries on the horizon.... better not cash in my penny jar yet. How long of run times do you get? How about temps on batteries/ESC?

Battery temps "pre-heated" to 100F and they never get above 112F. Generally runtime is about 3-5 min. depending on water conditions and how fast I want to go. I never let my batteries go below 50% capacity.
