Here is a closer look of the cnc machined radioboxes. I`m just about to finish the 11th boat this winter, and this box goes inside!

Pulling up an old thread. The Nodd V180 project was put on ice for several reasons.
However, it is time to do something with it. I bought a decent TP motor for the hull, and had my team mate make a motormount for it.
So the Nodd V180 will now get a nice TP 100 motor between his rails ;-)

Joern good to see you my friend.

I have the same motor and will one day do something with it also. Funny we both bought one for probably the same reasons.... . LOL.

And start with a 12S2P / 11600 mah configuration, maybe expand very quick to 12S3P / 17400 mah config.

I have not had enough time to put full focus on this boat so far, so progress is kind of slow.
Your mount looks good, as always :-)

run duel motors. If just single motor I would also look At the TP-Power 5660 line tppowerusa.com has them at 150.00 with free water jacket. I have seen these motors move big boats! You will need a monster speed control. 300 amps or better.

    I already have a cat on the bench who will have 2 x TP5850, and 2 x MGM X25063. :-)
And also a cat that most likely will have another TP100, just need to buy some extra time as well. *LOL*
I don`t use Flier esc cause they are too cheap.

I have been waiting for some crazy bugger to put that beast of a motor in something! You do the hobby proud. Peter showed us this motor awhile back and I have been waiting for him to unleash it on something. I can't wait to see this go, the amount of lipos must be staggering and close to the cost of the rest of the build combined. I thought the motor was just a showcase piece so TP could say "look how big mine is". Crazy! I love it.
