    does this thing have a surface drive and how big is it...... i think it would be cool for my nephew

    Yes on the surface drive and It Is 16" long with hardware and a motor.

    I don't have any for this boat. It Is a new very easy to build kit. minus servo, batteries and your receiver.

    No esc but, It would not take much of an esc to run the 400. It comes with a prop, motor mount, drive shaft, adjustable trim tabs and a rudder.
