Arrow Has anyone tried a Tactic radio in CF hull?

Just for my own curiosity, has anyone tried a Tactic radio in a Carbon Fiber or Kevlar hull.

At this time I am not considering it, but am curious whether or not it can receive the signal appropriately without being scattered.

Ben, it may be too new, there are people using it but maybe not in such custom tubs...

Yeah, I guessed that. Hopefully someone will test soon.

Ben, good question. I think that all radios regardless of the technology they use have a problem with those materials.
Andy and Bill what do you think?

CF is a pretty good RF shield. I wouldn't expect any range at all.

CF is a known 2.4G signal blocker....there hasn't been a lot of talk about kevlar though
