Cool Dr Super-Evil (Hydro 2) motor upgrade

    Hi guys!

I have a hydro boat Dr Super-Evil by Hydro&Marine. I I like SAW races, my record with SSS motor is 134 kmh and and I want to improve it.
I already have Swordfish 240A ESC (maybe I'll update to ZTW Seal G2 300A) and now I'm choosing a new motor. I like TP Power TP4070-SCM (100.000RPM motor), 2000Kv with 8s (no room for larger batteries).
But I'm glad to hear your advice. Did I make the right choice?

    Сurrent setup:

    4082 2000Kv SSS motor
    180A Seaking ESC
    6s 5000mAh 100C battery (2*3s)
    46mm 1.9 cleaver prop
    Weight with batteries 1980g.

IMO its a good race boat, but not a SAWs boat, there's too much aero lift.

Yes, I agree with this. But I use narrow speed self-made sponsons. I like its stability, I want to reach the maximum.
In addition, there is a channel on YouTube where the same body was accelerated to 225 kmh.

Also TP4070-SCM is too big for my boat. Now I'm choosing between CM-4060 or SVM-4060.
What exactly is the difference between CM and SVM series for TP Motors?

the problem with the CM and SVM you can go 10 sec for max power (tp advice) and for esc Castle is the way to go
if you use a tp 4060 this motor has much more power then the sss motor so you can use a bigger prop

Yes, I know about 10 seconds. Do Neu or LMT have the same limitations?

for LMT i know you can run them al day if temp stays under control ,i think for you the LMT is the best option (look at there website lehnermotorentechniek.com)the given rpm isn under load

Also, what is the maximum RPM I should aim for SAW-boat? At what speed does the propeller lose its effectiveness? 45,000?

the higher the rpm use small props ,but to small they are not very effective ,45000 will work but be very careful it could end in magic smoke
