Post * 48? mono hull build * advice appreciated!

    Hello everyone!

Starting a new project that I could use some advice on. It appears this is the right place to be!

I?m not a complete newbie to electronics and rc.. I?ve raced 1/8th scale truggys for years. But those are built for strict specs.

i stumbled upon a FREE boat with lots of extras. It came with two zenoah gas engines. I do not want a gas build so the first thing I did was rip them out. This boat obviously needs a lot hull work firstly, but I wanted to get some info about what motor/ecu setup would be ideal for this. The hull and remaining hardware roughly weighs under 10 pounds.

GOALS: 60mph + but also run safely not over pushing.

I?ve worked on and rigged boats for 10 years so im not new to propping/trim etc. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

    Good day,

I'm building a Rico Superboat 58 this summer and I've attached the link for the thread where I posed a similar question for some advice. It should point you in the right direction.
