    Default Vintage Thriftway Too

Hey ya'll, I was just gifted a mostly built Thriftway Too kit from a customer where I work (I'm an r/c tech at a hobby shop). Apparently it was his old man's project from the early 70s. I promised I'd get her on the water to honor his dad's memory, but I have no experience with these old mahogany kits. So I could use some pointers on finishing it. Electronics, etc (well, I suppose tx/rx aren't an issue). I was thinking maybe a light 2s brushless system would be sufficient, but I just don't have any experience with smaller scale boats.
    All knowledge is welcome
    Thanks!

Size makes all the differance in what motor and for battery info to give you. It looks Like the dumas kit. but need to know the length. before I say anything. I had a friend that built one when he was young but I have never had one so I need more info.
