Default Wire Drive .062 shaft saver

There a lot of flex shaft savers. But what I'm looking for is a shaft saver for a .062 Wire Drive. If anyone has a suggestion please let me know.

Very simple project for anyone with a lathe and some aluminum scrap. If you don't know anyone with a lathe, hit up Jeff Wohlt at Wohlt's RC. I'm sure he could make one for you.

I have contacted Jeff. He does not carry wire drive savers. He is looking for one. If he can't come up with a source i am hoping some one on the forum will have an suggestion.

I don't have a lathe or equipment like that.

mcmaster carr has aluminum clamping shaft collars all the way down to 1/16"..... Any reason this wouldn't work? personally, I would be worried about it being unbalanced, but that's just me.

Thanks--but they want $40 for one. I would like to find one that cost less if possible.

Problem solved--Jeff Wohlt came up with a good source at a fair price.
