Default Wire drive in Proboat Veles 29

Newbie wants to know if I can run a wire drive in this boat, or should I just stick with a flex cable.

Yes you can, I've done it, but its not a good idea. Wire drives have all sorts of benefits over flex cables, but flexibility isn't one of them. The bend required in any of the Proboat models is too severe for a wire. The spring tension it creates causes accelerated wear on the strut bushings, and on some models, constantly forces the trim out of adjustment. I picked up noticeable performance in a twin Zelos, but grew tired of snapping the wires. Had similar issues in the V3 29" Blackjack and Miss Geico, which are essentially identical setups to the Veles.
