    Default Fs gr3e

I have a spare fs-GR3E that I decided to put into service. It seems to bind ok, but in a very short time ? like <30 secs ? it gets so hot it?s uncomfortable to hold. Safe to assume it?s shorted out or something?

Wow...talk about an old FS Rx. Have you considered upgrading your Tx to something with newer technology? Something that's faster, had a lot less latency, and is more reliable? Plus, with how short the range is on those (200m, if you're lucky...typically no more than 100m), you'd be "out of range" in no time in anything larger than a tiny pond.

Check out the FlySky Noble NB4.

For what it does, better then spending twice that (or more) for an equivalent Spektrum, Futaba, Sanwa, etc. Besides, in the near future, you could find yourself having to make the choice, as those 1st-Gen FS receivers could stop being manufactured.
