Default 90A ESC fails to full throttle

Is there any way to adjust this? I couldn't find anything in the manual other than it's supposed to cut power to the prop when signal is lost, which it does exactly the opposite.

Is there any way to adjust this? everything else works fine, throttle control steering etc. found this out the hard way last night, my son turned the receiver off after we assembled and test ran everything and it went WOT and melted the impeller onto the bearing retainer.

My experience with Spektrum equipment is the failsafe is whatever position the controls are set to when the TX is bound to the RX. Your manual should describe the binding process, so maybe try and rebind making sure the throttle is at zero when doing so.

Did your manual also describe a throttle calibration process you had to do as well?

That was it. Rebind and left it in neutral. Problem solved. I think I tried to calibrate the ESC too soon and bound the receiver in wot position. Thank you very much!

Glad it was an easy one!
