Legends Swishblade Outboard Ski Boat

Reluctantly need to part with ?Dragonfly 2?, a Swishblade model that is one of the most recent models from the MACK Products? Legends line of extraordinarily well detailed model boat kits. This version is beautiful all wood construction; the hull is fully epoxy coated, inside and out with mahogany decking. Seats and rear decking are custom covered in white vinyl with red vinyl trim.

The boat is powered by an Offshore Electrics (OSE) Scale Evinrude outboard, with the manufacturer?s recommended 1500KV outrunner motor installed. This is a metal geared motor, not a flex-drive outboard, so it maintains a true scale appearance. An extra prop for the outboard is included Also, an oil syringe is included to aid in lubricating the lower unit with marine lube before each run.

MyTrickRC LED lighting is installed for spotlights and navigation lights, managed by their UF7C Lighting Controller with dedicated 9V battery and on/off switch under the dash.

A Spektrum SR 410 4 channel RX with push button binding is installed for the motor and the Dynamite 120A Marine ESC. 2 water pickups and 2 discharges provide cooling for the ESC. A Hitec HS625MG servo manages the steering, with both arms of the servo horn connected to the outboard.
The cockpit has been customized for the use of a 4S LIPO battery pack (OSE recommends 3-5S battery packs for this motor) and the ESC.

A male figure with hoodie ?drives? the boat aided by a simulated throttle and gear shift. Simulated instruments include speedometer, tach, oil pressure, water temperature and fuel gauges. A simulated fire extinguisher is installed at the front of the cockpit. A simulated cell phone and graphical GPS are installed on the dash. A removable scratch-built windshield is installed, along with a rear-view mirror. 2 scale outboard gas tanks are installed in the cockpit.

Original documentation for all major components in the boat as well as a set of operational notes will be included.

Always a challenge to price boats like this. But here are some observations based on current pricing: Evinrude Scale Outboard from OSE ($200+), Dynamite Marine ESC (~$130), Figurine (~$35), Lighting and Controller (~$75), Swishblade unbuilt kit shipped from MACK Products (~$300+).

Price $325. Local pickup in northeastern NJ is preferred, but delivery can be arranged within an hour of seller?s location. Boat can also be shipped in ~12?x16?x36? box. Weight is around 10 lbs.
