Interesting changing a 1/10 scale in to a Sport 40. You know a 1/10 scale is a electric boat and a Sport 40 is a Nitro boat.

I wasn't aware of that!! Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I suppose this build is just my take on the AVL, streamlined.

Indeed, my 36 AVL is a former nitiro boat converted to FE ( boy was it a mess ) but finding places to run gas or nitro on public water is being frowned on , ya.

I hear ya, nobody in Las Vegas does nitro anymore. I think I would just build a boat rather than converting a nitro. Like you say, messy!! All of my 1/8 scale from the past were nitro. I enjoyed it at the time but you had to disassemble your boat to give it a proper cleaning.

That's funny!! All was good until I laid down a Stencil tonight. Had you replace a little section and when I peeled the Stencil back up, it left behind most of the adhesive. Bummer!! Looks like I won't be able to do the last detail I was looking forward to but it could have been worse if I'd painted it and found this out after the fact. Will need to strip the adhesive and repaint part of the deck.20230914_211630.jpg20230914_211652.jpg
