    Default Battery recommendations

    Hi
    I have a TFL 1126 Patron Saint
The motor is a 3660/2070KV Brushless
The ESC is a Turnigy 120A ESC which states is good for 2s to 6s.
I?m thinking I should run 4s. What battery would you run? I?m not too familiar with the number designations on batteries ie. 5000, 6000, MAH, etc. sorry for the newbie question but I do respect the knowledge in these forums:

in general you should aim for about 25-35k RPM. Go over to the speed calc and punch in your motor specs and prop and you'll figure it out and learn in the process. but yes 4s is appropriate.

you can run 4s with bigger props
you can run 6s with smaller props

2070 kv is really too high for 6-s. If you don't own any batteries look for
4500 to 6000 MA with a C rating of at least 40. Higher the better. Being a
mono hull running one pack works fine. You could probably be O K with a
5-s for more speed, but any more and I think you will be looking to over tax
your set up. That's a big hull your pushing.
