Mistake, should've been hobbywing. Believe they are the same.

The multifunction doesn't work with some of the older hobbywing esc's.

I was given Turnigy 150a esc. I read that most the program boxes won’t work with this esc.

POst a pic of your esc. My guess it's Hobby King's version of the Raider AKA FLYCOLOR esc.

What exactly happened that it did not work?

    Did you use this?

Yes I did use that exact programmer. When you hook it up to the esc the display say Fly.

It stays on fly. It doesn’t flash fly and then go numbers for value and item.

What power source are you using and is the red white and black connector accidentally plugged in upside down?

The flipped connector didin't fix anything, sorry. I just tried it. If connector is reversed display does not come on.

My Hobbywing program boxes and ESCs are picky as to the exact power up process or they won't work, so I assume any of the rebrands or product clones may be similar. The box must be connected to my ESC before the ESC is ever powered on. Doing it any other way will result in the box acting as if it dead, or LED dashes come on but no program numbers ever show

So doing what you suggested worked using OSE programmer for flycolor esc. Plugged in the programmer, plugged in the battery waited minute the numbers in the displays popped up. Thanks!

Awesome! I almost bought another one thinking mine was dead until I figured it out myself.
