Twin Outboards with wheel and throttle controls

I'm looking to build my first RC boat to bring to work as a teaching tool. I've done some research but haven't found a way that I can use a real wheel and throttle (or an off the shelf RC controller shaped like a wheel and throttle) to control the boat.

Has anybody done a build like this? Ideally, I would be able to have a wheel and dual throttles that each control one of the outboards.

I dont think anyone has sold one commercially, but Futaba used to make one with the twin sticks, search up futaba robbe f14 navy, the stick module was available separately and I have seen some modded TXs with the dual stick unit and ships wheel.
