Larger motor in the Veles 29

Has anyone a 4082 motor or similar in this boat I have a Seaking 180 ESC was wondering which KV to go with for speed runs 16-18-20000 any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure which motor, TP or leopard at this point.

I modified and lowered the stock battery tray with great success the boat turns much better at slower speed now.

If you're only after speed runs, I would keep the kV closer to the original 2000kV mark on 6S w/ an ABC 1716 prop and a 180A ESC at a minimum. Temps will still need to be monitored and the faster it goes, the easier that hull will blow over. You can go lower on the kV and make up for it with a larger diameter prop, but it's a small hull and too much diameter will introduce other issues.
