NAMBA District 5 and the City of Huntsville proudly present the Rocket City Nationals, NAMBA's 51st Anniversary National Championships to be held October 7th through 14th, 2023, at Brahan Spring Park in Rocket City (Huntsville) Alabama.
Brahan Spring Park is the preeminent multi-discipline RC boating site in all of racing providing an unmatched facility built and maintained in a partnership between the City of Huntsville and Huntsville Model Boat Association. The facility features a large covered concrete driver’s stand, concrete hot pits, and an abundance of grass area capable of housing a pit area for the largest events.
Race entries will be opened April 1st and will close on August 5th. Entries may be cancelled, and fees refunded through August 19th. All entry fees must be paid on or before September 1st or your entry will be cancelled.

For those people who have either never raced at a NAMBA Nationals or race in an area that may have a different format, chosen classes compete on the day shown and will run four rounds on that day.
The event registration fee is $65 which includes a banquet ticket for the entrant, event patch, event pin, and the program. $15 fee for each boat entered. Please be sure to add the Event Registration item from the event add-ons as you run through the entry process.
Hotel booking will be available through the event entry process as well as by Clicking Here: https://app.eventconnect.io/racedayonline at any time after the registration process has opened. These are negotiated rates with additional discounts in the event the hotel charges for extras such as parking.
By city ordinance there is no overnight RV parking in the park. For years racers have pulled out and stayed at the large lot behind the Cracker Barrel and brought their RV into the park during the day, or gone to the Space and Rocket Center RV Center. We will be arranging RV dump service to occur at the same time as the portable restrooms are serviced. The fee for that will be determined. You will be required to follow an event official's instructions regarding the parking of your RV.
