Default 48" ML Boatworks mono to FE power?

I have been thinking about going electric on my 48" ML Boatworks mono but I'm not sure what motor to run.
I'm thinking either a Leopard or SSS in the 56mm dia. range but not sure which length. 105, 114,123mm etc.
I'm thinking an ESC in the 300 to 400A range should work.

I'm trying not to break the bank is why I'm thinking of either a Leo or SSS motor and maybe a Flier ESC. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088WLTWL5...v_ov_lig_dp_it
    or https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0832CZZYT...v_ov_lig_dp_it

From what I have read most are fairly happy with the Flier ESC.
I'm guessing for props I would start somewhere in the 65mm range?

I want to run it on 12s to be able to use the existing 6s 5000 packs I already have so I would guess the KV should be around 700 to 800kv?
Anyone using the Leo or SSS 56xxx motors on 12s?
What props, hulls, and ESC.s are you using.

The boat has a 30+ gas engine in it now so I would simply just get an electric mount for the 5" rails and fit it in the boat is my plan.

    Any insight greatly appreciated.
I've been doing a ton of searching and really haven't found too much on these motor and esc setups in that size of hull.325727246_845466506533703_5084798763550206154_n s.jpg

Won't be for racing or any sort of competition just playing around but I hope to get at least 60 mph out of it.

    Thanks guy's.

56mm can x 100+mm, 500kv on 12s. You can play with props to get the speed you want. One of the guys in our club has converted a gas rigger to electric. TP5670 650 kv, ZTW 300 G2 esc, 12s. On a prather 270 was pulling speeds around 70 mph. The gas guys are worried!

i think a sss 56114 700kv is for this hull a good motor ,i like the ztw 300esc and you can use the gas drive line ,2 things you need a good hatch and good batteries (CHNL are very good and not break the bank)I use this motor and esc in a Aeromarine Conqest and works very good and runs very good with a prather 270 prop on 12s speed 72mph

The Hydra/2028 is a monster combo even on only 8S. We have one running at the front of the 10S T pack at well over 70 peaking almost 500 amps with no issues.

    Thanks for the info guy's.
So between the 56114mm and the 56123mm motors would the longer one pull a bit less amps for the same size prop and cell count compared to the shorter can?

I already have some props in the 70mm range so that would be nice to be able to use them.

5613 is a big motor 9kw continus 15 kw peak there are not much gas motors that can match that ,and a 600kv motor you can pull big props but always check temps after a short first run
