Looking to build a Q-Cat for next season and not sure on what hull choices I have. Never run a Q-Cat so looking for you guys to point me in the right directions. Needs to be 40" or less.
Thanks in Advance

Aeromarine is back in business so an sprint cat 36 is perfect for racing, maybe a tfl cheetah can be good as well but i like the sprint cat
Aeromarine - Avenger 36"
Very stable at speed.
I built mine as a twin:

Robert,
Either the AM Avenger or Sprintcat are good heat racing choices. The layout is a little different between the two hulls due to the hatch opening. I would recommend a 2P setup with a minimum of 8000mAH total for heat racing or better 10,000mAH total for heat racing or offshore.
Lots of motor options:
-Castle 1717 1260kv good all around option
-TP4070 1200-1400kv
-Neu 1527-1530 1200-1400kv
-TP5650-5660 1100-1400kv
-Leopard 40mm or 56mm, 90+mm length, 1200-1400kv
-Lehner 2250-2280, 1200-1400kv
-Lehner 4140-5 outrunner if you want to be cool and different.
The go to ESC is the Castle XLX2 Hydra or you can use the smaller X8S converted to water cooling.
As for batteries look at Roaringtop, Dinogy, HobbyKing Graphene's, SMC's, or any decent lipo with a minumum 45C rating for a 2P installation.

Robert,
Try to get ahold of Danny Weimer(sp?). he has been acting as the go to guy to get hulls from AM. He has a post on IW if you search for Aeromarine.

On vacation last summer I stopped into the Hobby Stop store in Seaford, Delaware. Discovered that Aeromarine's Remy Haynes is the owner. Talked about the good old days on Long Island. Store phone is 302-629-3944. I think he said that they will build hulls for confirmed orders.
youtube aeromarine sprint cat loads of videos
