Titanium turn fins for Sport Hydros and Riggers.

These fins will fit;
"P" limited Sport Hydros and some Riggers
"P" Sport Hydros and some Riggers
"Q" Sport Hydros and some Riggers

Turn fin includes:
(1) Turn Fin, no bracket, no screws.

Bent radius is a little less then a Stainless Turn Fin, seeing that most people including me
are reducing the bend on the Stainless fins.

The sharpened edge is machined at 7 degrees, making the machined edge 3/8" long.

These fins will not bend as ease either. It took a 12 ton Hydraulic press to do the hook in the fin.1" radius - NOT a straight bend

Fins are 0.065" thick Titanium, and lighter and much stronger then the Stainless fins of the same size.

I decreased the hook by 1/8" to 3/4"
After some testing, me and a few others decided a little more.
I reworked my 2" Dia. Die Set for a little more perimeter.

I now have changed my design a little bit.
They are still the same 3 3/8" long.
A little wider - Were 2/5/8" - Now 2 3/4"
Hook is now 9/16" down from 3/4"
I also removed the round on the lower front edge.
I was told by a real Hydro racer that the rounded leading edge will cause lift,
at the higher speeds that our boats are now achieving. He saw my "P" Sport hitting 81MPH and the turn fin side was lifting towards the end of the straights.
Also, the thickness has increased. from .072 to .082

I still have some rounded ones if you would prefer them.

In Picture 0001 you can see three types of fins,
On the left is my original TI fins (only two left). the center one is the new size with a small round (only one left).
On the right & above are the new fins.

The cost of the Titanium went up by $6.00(thicker) and water jet cutting went up $125.00
So the Prices will be a little higher also.
