Default 50" Mono Twin setup, I need help.

I' ve got a mono hull, 126cm or 50" if you prefer. This mono will run with a twin setup.
The problem is choosing the correct voltage for this hull, 2 x 6s, 2 x 10S ? What must be the max RPM unload, 30.000 or 35.000 ?

    Here is the hull :

that's a very nice hull, with a twin set up you get a very heavy hull (only the drive line is about 4.5 to 5.5 kg) but 10s and 900kv should be good and ztw 300 esc's

    Does a 2 x 8S setup sound good for a 50" - 126cm mono ?

    Do you know the weight of 2 x 56XX motors ? 1680 Grammes .....

I wish I had other opinions, that would be cool.

2x5660 is 1800 but a pair of 4070 1400kv is 1300 ,SSS 4092 1400kv 1150 or you can opt for one motor also less hassle and price

You could go with a 56 x 115/125 motor 500kv, 300A esc on 10s2P. That would allow for bigger props, even 1/4" and give good speed. You haven't said what are your goals?

If you want something in between a long 40mm and a short 56mm motor you might want to look at the 44mm Lehner 22xx series motors.

You need to start with the limiting component in the power system: The ESC. If you have access to a good HV ESC like a Schulze or MGM then there are good options to go 12S. If you have a lower voltage ESC, then use the max input voltage the ESC can handle. Have you selected ESC's already?

If no, and you want 8S I would highly recommend looking at the Castle Hydra XLX2 which just got released. This is an 8S 400A capable ESC with logging.
