Default Twin 6S Avenger Cat Update

I have made some changes to my 6S Avenger Twin Cat
I now have installed a Pair of Castle X8's
TP 4060 -1650 KV and ABC 1816 Props

Two runs on Sept. 11-22 they both came back at 80 MPH.

After this run I put a longer rudder on it, much better now.

Going to be building a twin Avenger over the off season. What are your measurements for your motor mounts

They are easy to figure out and make. Use a piece of thin cardboard and start trimming, trim and fit, trim and fit.
I don't have any prints of them any more, To get a print of them now I would have to do the above.

    Sorry Larry

36'' is not a long catamaran, is the hull heavy ?

Our rules for "Q" class is 40" Max. and 6S .
This boat is for Oval and Offshore racing, not zip-zip in a straight line.
I never weighed the bare hull.

what props are those? ABC? I building a sprint cat 42 so your data logs are pretty interesting. Hard to read though with all the parameters at once.

If you are building a 42" You should read up on my 41" 8s cat.

in the other thread you posted 2 logs is that for each esc? You're running twin 5670 TP motors @ 4000w average?

im running a 4070 single and got to 55mph but pulling 4000w doing it. everyone has told me something is wrong. Ive spent all week trying to eek out any kind of efficiency from this hull. But if its taking 8000w on yours to get 86mph that kinda tells me it takes a ton of power in these larger catamarans.

    55mph for a 4070 single, in a 42" cat, is not bad.
In my 41" cat I am running two 5670 1170KV with two XLX2's and 2115 ABC props.

This page is my 36" cat Twin. you want my 41" Twin (look below)

    Look at the thread here;
