Default Rico Racing Class one 72" skater build

Hello I am starting a 72inch skater build. I just ordered the hull 5 to 6 weeks out on it. So I want to build a twin electric 12s per side looking for help on running gear to complete the build. I currently have 4 9000mah 6s powerhobby 120 c batteries. I am thinking ztw 300 amp esc's. Want something fast so any and all help would be appreciated. What motors ? What motor mounts? Strut and outdrives? Looking for some pictures of other electric skater builds for ideas so if you could help me with some information I would greatly appreciate it .

    Cool

Welcome to OSE! Not a lot of builds of cats that size on this side of the Atlantic, a lot more interest in Europe. We need to know a bit more about your boat?s goals.

    - exactly what does ?fast? mean to you in mph?

    - what is your budget?

    - what length of run time is acceptable to you?

    - what use will the boat get: fast passes, oval racing, sport running?

    - how big of a pond do you have to run the boat on?

    - what kind of water on the pond - smooth, windy, choppy?

    - have you contacted the Heart of Texas Model Boat Club in Katy?

The search function is your friend:

Would like to be above 100 mph
Trying to stay under 2k on the build not counting batteries ,radio , hull .
Would like to get around 10 mins of run time
Fast passes and just playing around
I play in a lake so lots of room
Water has little ripples and some wind but occasionally I can find it smooth
I have not talked to any boat clubs as I am the only one around that I know of currently but Katy is not that far away as I will check on them .
    Thanks

You should definitely check us out at HOTMBC in Katy. We race boats twice a month. Primarily oval racing according to NAMBA rules, but we have a few members with big fast cats. No one has anything quite as large as a 72" that I've seen run, but a number of guys have big cats in the triple digits on similar power systems. I'm not one of them though. I oval race and that's about it. Message me for details on the club, or here is the Facebook link. https://www.facebook.com/groups/330511467426467/
