    Cool Phil Thomas hydro ideas!

Just got my Stealth Hydro45 in from Mr. Phil . I'll be using a Brent Bryers wire drive. The motor, kv, esc set=up is still being debated in my head. Need some feed back. I do have a "swordfish 220" on hand. Anyone, have one of his boats? I'm setting it up to run Q-hydro. So 6s 2p setup is what I'm shooting for. Thanks for any Help and ideas !

Hi. We used to run NEU 1527's. I believe 1250kv. Should make a nice 6S setup with that controller.

There are a lot of good options for Q:
    Neu 1527 1Y
    TP 4070 6D or 3Y
    TP 5660 6D or 7D
    LMT: 2280/6
    LMT: 4125/ 7 or 8 wind outrunner
    LMT: 4140/5 wind outrunner
    Leopard 4092

If would highly recommend the Castle X8S or XLX2 with appropriate cooler.

Where in Texas does the OP live? The Katy club has a lot of experience with that hull as a Q oval racer and would be happy to help.

True! The HOTMBC does have several of those hulls configured as Q-Sport Hydros, and we?ll be glad to help out.
