Default trying to get better flex shaft alignment to motor

seems my stuffing tube is out of alignment just a slight bit causing excess heat (and smoke) which is reading over 200+ degrees at the bearing cap end and tube. The rear of the tube is heavy epoxied thru hull, and i have 2 carbon supports that are epoxied in place, was wondering if i cut thoseB06BA142-1ED6-4651-83BA-8DB1B659FBC8.jpgAC8D7AEF-C117-4214-A40F-A785B841372E.jpg0FF1EA44-64BB-4A5F-BAC7-044BCC328710.jpgD3323E18-E927-4235-82EC-B4CCB2A65C41.jpg two supports and if they made an adjustable stuffing tube holder and i would be able to manipulate the tube and flex shaft just a tad so not to rub on bearing and center it better. Pictures attached.

Is there adjustment at the motor mount side of the equation? If not, I would break the front support free and with the cable in the tube, gently bend the assembly into adjustment.

Thanks for that suggestion, yeah theres no adjustment on motor mounts, I was going to try and use this mount pictured beleow. It looks like it has up and down adjustability, ill just have to align it from left to right and get that centered.95C45E40-ED99-4A87-848D-7828C436681C.jpg

What motor mounts are in there now? If you can break them loose it appears just a little tweak will be needed. I’m sure Ryan or I could advise on properly aligning.

I would say, the main problem is the motor mount.
In picture #1 - if you draw a line from the motor mount down the center of the coupler,
It ends up about a 1/4" low on the inside of the tube.
