Would you think something?s not right if you buy new shafts and props and received this? Does something look off?

left and right wind cables often look different, even wen purchased from the same manufacturer. If the discoloring bothers you, you can polish it in a drill chuck with light grit sand paper, but not on the part grabbed by the collet. As long as the cable doesn't appear to be corroded on the surface, or down in the internal winds, I wouldn't worry about it. What I'm more worried about with my own cables is the trueness of the joint between the flex and the stub shaft.
