Blackjack 42 motor replacement/upgrade.

I just got off the phone with Horizon trying to get a motor for a Blackjack 42, I purchase without motor and they tell me I'll have to wait till May to get one, so I decided to upgrade but have no idea what would be a suitable or replacement. Any ideas, suggestions or info on the issue will be appreciated.

Hmm there will be plenty of experienced people come along, I have no idea with the boat but some quick research maybe a 4050/ 4060 TP motor? a 4050 5Y

figure out the size of the spectrum fitted and take a look here for something comparable in size. keep the KV similar

if you measure the space in the boat then you can use any motor from a SSS4092 1400kv ,TP4060 or 4070 if money is no problem a Lehner 2260/7 so loads of choice (by the way a SSS motor is not bad)
