    Default What props to use

    Hey Guys
Building a 114 twin cat , using SSS 4092 1650kv motors. 220 amp swordfish speed controlls.
    Using 6s batteries
What props would you use. Not chasing huge speed , wanting a safe set up to start out with.
    I am newby to boats.

I have found 2 sets of cnc props.
    4616 2 blade 1.6 pitch
    4714 2 blade 1.4 pitch
Both are sold as a pair.
4619 are not listed on this website.

oh yeah the xx19 prop are from TFL, the TFL dealer in germany has all the seizes props from 1.4 to 1.9 (but the 1.9 is only 1.2 pitch it's a graupner copy)but if you start with the 4714 it's a good start

in this thread he is using 4816 on a much smaller twin cat (36") with more powerful motors and pushing it to its limits. he includes data log to confirm.

Since both the boat and driver are new, I would suggest you start with a prop similar to an Octura 447 (47mm diameter, 1.4 pitch ratio). Because you've chosen a mid range motor kV that is well suited for 6S running, you'll ultimately run a slightly larger diameter when looking for more speeds.
