Default 1st Scratch Build, $70 Rescue Boat.

Made extra wide just in case the 15" wide ProBoat 42, is in the future.
Electrics purchased as a Combo. Bench tested on 3s, at full song it made a shrill sound similar to something heard in a Horror Movie.
Esc says up to 4s. On 4s, a 40amp ESC and a 2300 kv motor... How long before...

Gunna go with 2s and traveling a blistering 4mph in route to the crime scene. (Fishing pole will still make the trip.)

The Good: Learned how to install an airplane prop. There's actually two ways of doing it...
    No more swimming.

The Bad: Airplanes don't have a reverse.

Good work. You will need something hanging down to capture the stranded boat.

Thanks. Does have lawn trimmer line (green) running across the bottom of the back. In testing, I'm guessing the kv is to high & the prop is to small.
Looking at an 1100kv motor that comes with a 10" prop, current prop is 6". What do you think... looking for some advise.

High KV & small prop is for racing planes, not barges.

1100 KV and 11x6 prop should be OK on 2S. I use 3S with a 950 KV motor and 10x7 prop. Also use a SeaKing 60 amp boat ESC with reverse. Current draw is low enough to get by without water cooling. Club has about 10 of these rigs, 2,3,4 & 6 cells.
