    Default Trim tab/turn fin adjustment

Just built a df 23 and am having some turning issues to the right. Turns left smoothly at speed but to the right skips across water a bit. I tried adjusting turn fins down and up to no effect. Should I raise or lower the trim tabs? Rudder on right side.

I assume your rudder is mounted to the right of the prop? When a mono turns right, it rolls to the right and puts more rudder in the water (assuming rudder is on right side). My guess is that perhaps your rudder might not be aligned perpendicularly and causing lift in the turns. When you look at the boat from the side when placed on a flat surface, is the rudder blade straight up and down or angled in (or away) from the transom?

Yup..It is definetely angled out. I had to add an extension and guess I was not very precise. Easy fix. Thanks alot!
