Default Data logger with amp draw data

I was wondering if there was any way to record amp draw while running boats on the water?

    Sure.

I use the Unilog 2 from SM Modellbau:
    https://www.sm-modellbau.de/UniLog-2
It can log current, Voltage, rpm based on detecting the phase frequency or optical measurement, Temperatures, ...
There is a big variety on sensors you can connect, one option would also be a GPS-Tracker, ...

    Very nice system.

    Regards, Eike

Thanks for input Eike. I will consider that option, although I would like to find a USA supplier. After searching around I have also found some esc’s with data logging that I’m considering.

Castle ESCs have very good logging abilities. Sadly their marine support is lacking, but modding other controllers for marine use gives the option of using them for data logging.

The SM modelbau Uniloggers are the best logger out there.

MGM, and Hifei also make boat ESCs with datalogging, but if you want a USA based device I think your only options are modding a car or plane Castle Creations ESC for boat use, or buying a used Eagletree Elogger.
