Default Swordfish 300 lite seems to be dead on arrival

I?m hoping I am just doing something wrong here but I have a brand new swordfish 300 from ose that I soldered the cap pool they recommend onto the esc and when I plug it in I get absolutely nothing. No beeps, no lights, no motor turning or anything, I am using a battery to power receiver. I have gone in and checked programming and have also zeroed out the throttle but still nothing. Any idea what could be going on?

    Some suggestions:

Are you using a 4S or higher cell count battery to check?
Have you checked continuity on the power connections when you soldered the new cap board on?
    Switch turned on?
Do you have the correct settings in the radio/receiver? Throttle channel reversed if necessary.
Do you have another radio and receiver you can test? Or servo tester.
Are you connected to the correct servo lead not the programming cable.

Hey Tyler, yes to all of your questions and as far as cell count for testing I have tried 6s and 10s

I’m wondering if the on/off switch has an issue

I got it to work now, I switched remotes and it seems to be fine now which is funny because I switched to the exact same remote and receiver model.
