We're coming up on two weeks to go to our event and are trying to get an accurate boat count. If you are planning to come please register ASAP, if you cannot attend or need to modify your entry please shoot an email to tkee@rogers.com or text me at 647-401-7092.

For our American friends, good news, our land border opens today for leisure travel. To enter Canada you must download the "ArriveCan" app: https://www.canada.ca/en/public-heal...arrivecan.html and follow the prompts to get an entry code, I went through it with IMPBA President Matt Scofield and it took about five minutes.

    Requirements are:

Proof of two vaccinations at least 14 days prior to entering Canada.

You must have a 14 day quarantine plan should it become necessary.

You must show proof of a negative Molecular COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hrs. prior to entering.

You have to declare any and all countries you have travelled to outside the US in the last 14 days.

As far as I can see there are no restrictions for American citizens returning to the US, a Covid test is recommended 3-5 days after returning.

Even though our numbers were down due to Covid and border issues our NLMBC still worked their tails off to host another great event for our guests.

Tom Castillani won the Thunderboat Concours with his beautiful "Miss Mojo Racing Products":

The "Bent Crank" award went to Todd Fleury for having a rough weekend overall:

The "Sportsmanship award in memory of Andrew Lane" went to Norm Langevin who fixed Phil Thompkins boat without even being asked, a true sportsman.

Brian Brownlee of Cornwall, ON had to kiss "The Little Beaver" for the furthest travelled.

This year's "Can-Am Challenge" was won by Team Canada.

And the "Oneida Cup" was won by Bill Green with perfect scores in LSG 36 Rigger and 36 Cat:

Bill also came first in another two classes and third in another and won one of our RTR boat prizes.

    Scoring files are here: https://www.4shared.com/folder/lbjWovrI/_online.html

It's been a tough eighteen months but it was good to see some of our friends again and do a little racing, look for us next year August 27 & 28th.
