    What material are you using to create the nose piece?

    I also see you used blocks of foam? I am rescuing a half built boat where those pieces are shaped out of wood and appear to quite chunky. I might cut them out if the wood blocks are a bad approach. What will you cover the foam with?

    The nose block is shaped/sanded basswood core. I used poly foam blocks to form the cone. The light blue stuff is Icing which is similar to bondo but easier to sand.

    The white foam blocks that you see are used to guide the 1/16” ply that will go above and below. I coated the foam with g-flex. If I weren’t covering the foam with ply then I’d use icing or bondo.
