    Cool Taking retrieval craft to the next level

    The boat that sees the most wheel time of all... the retriever.
    This is an improvement over my current Frankenstein craft of multiple revisions but extensive ugliness.

    Booms and cross brace are 0.5 inch pultruded carbon fiber, while the towboat framing is dowel and copper fittings.

    Towboat is mix of 1.5 and 2 inch insulation foam board, faced with 1mm styrene sheets.

    Bottom is 1/16 in ply painted with west systems died black.

    Steerable out drive, straight drive, crawler motor, arrma 3s esc and 3s batt.

    Windows are pearl vinyl.
    Styrene skin is just taped in place and deck roofs are temporary.
    Got some scale bits and bobs on the way and lights will happen.

    Nice build. I bet it's going to be pretty maneuverable with that steerable drive setup. The lightweight carbon rods should help that too.
