Default Zelos/Miss Geico motor swap question

I am about to purchase a used 36" Zelos. I am already planning on swapping the stock motors with larger Leopard 4074. Does anyone know if the 4074 will fit with the stock motor mounts in the Zelos/Miss Geico? Thanks

It will fit, but that motor is going to add a lot of stress to the mounts, so eventually they will pop the mount loose. Motor is quite a bit longer so has more leverage against the mount when the hull bounces, etc... I also found that the mounts would rotate around a bit, even with the screws really tight. Once you get them located, might need to do something to help "stick" them in place.

If you swap the original motors for TP 3650 they will fit beter and are a massif improvement (you have to support the rear of the motor)you can find them at OSE
