Sea King 180M dead? or just the Cappack?

I have a fairly new/low runs (since Dec 2020) Sea King 180M running on 2 3S batts through a Ripper 2340 2000KV motor. Yesterday the motor just quit. The cap pack smelled burnt and was very hot.
Whats the opinion on replacing the cappack alone, or should I just replace the ESC?

Hi Jim first check the drive line if the prop shaft runs free then check the motor maybe it smells funny (did use a good size prop aka not to big)are the batts in good condition ,but i think it's best replace the esc if every thing checks out
