    Default Graupner 500 repower

    I've got a 26" 3-D V hull from the mid 80's. Installed a Graupner surface-drive with 7.2 battery pack and it worked fine. Now, the gears (14 tooth) are coming apart (cracking with age).
    I can't find Graupner gears, so I'd like to use the Graupner out drive portion with a new motor.
    Any suggestions either as to where I can find Graupner gears or motor recomendations

    You want a Hughey gearbox? I have a few.... Don't bother with the plastic gears as they just keep exploding. I'd go direct drive.
