    Default WTB Schulze ESC's

Hello, I'm looking for a few of the smaller future esc's in the 6 to 12s lipo range, any of the units that look like the one attached. Thanks.

I have located a couple 12.46e controllers on ebay!

Tyler I see you are no stranger to the schulze controllers. I have a question about a few of my older units, Is the 40.160 (old style) a good choice for my HPR 233? or am I better off with the 40.161 units?

Tube, ive just bought some 40.160 old (paid close to $1000 each for them ) they are unused from Schulz, they will go in a HPR C5008 (185cm)

these might tickle your fancy for a 233...

    Tubenut,

Yes I am quite experienced with Schulze controllers. I have owned many and still try to refurbish and modify controllers where possible to keep them running and looking good. Manuel Wenny and I are something like the European and US import/exporters for Schulzes.

Although the old 40.160wk's are fantastic controllers, there are better options for a HPR 233 given the size of that hull. A pair of MGM 40063's or 80063's are a better substitute which are still in production and support is available for.

I might take him up on that, I do not own a set of that series.

Tyler, I have a set of 3080/5 motors that I have used, I do not run my HPR hard, A set of castle HV160 edge controllers with water cooling and conformal coating do very well with conservative props (about 5 years now on the same controllers) I run the boat in the lake behind my house, and it gets ran often! I mainly keep the prop size down, it runs a comfortable 60mph without any real stress. I did test it yesterday on a set of XLX2 controllers, one air cooled, the other water cooled. Temps were lower on the water cooled unit, but the rest was identical. These were TP 5870 motors with gens ace 6k 100c packs in 8s2p.

Hmm tried to upload logger pics. Not showing up very large.

    Main results.

Voltage 33.6, Ripple 1.02v (no additional capacitors added) current peak 374.6a, Watts 9620, Temp 142f, RPM 25,394.

Also, I have a set of JETI MEZON HV units I have modified and added water cooling to, they work well also!

Glad you could make a deal,

I considered them for my up coming HPR 185 build but im trying to be 'lightweight' 3060/6 14s SLS quantum 5000mah packs and 40.160 old :)

Sure 40.160 old will get me well above 100mph
