Default Suitable timing for a TP motor (5y winding)

I am after a suitable timing for a TP Motor 4050 1330kv running on 6s. This is a 5y winding. I do not wish to overheat the motor by overtiming it and am not after maximum revs or performance, just a suitable figure, please.

Normal rule of thumb is 15 degrees for "Y" winds. Really anywhere between 10 and 15 is good.

Many thanks. The default setting on the ESC is "15". I am awaiting delivery of a programming card as I cannot recall what timing I set several years ago.

I use "0" for D wind motors. For "Y" motors increasing timing will induce greater heat in the motor, with an increase in RPM. I am not after outright performance but a timing point that is safe for the motor.
